Most frequently asked questions
If you choose car leasing, you have to specify an annual mileage when you sign the contract. Remember that a personal lease doesn’t allow for a change of mileage while a non regulated business lease has the flexibility to change mileage.
We’re here to answer any questions you have about car leasing, models and more. Give us a bell on 0333 234 2345 on business days between the hours of 8:30am and 5:30 pm.
Of course! Private registration plates can be used on lease cars and it’s best you let us know sooner rather than later.
You’ll have to nominate the leasing company as the nominee and most leasing companies will charge an additional administration fee to add and remove a personal licence plate.
It’s always best to arrange fully comprehensive insurance for your car. Otherwise, you’ll breach your agreement with the finance company.
Our standard fee is £199.99 + VAT, although we may change it in some situations.
Prices do include VAT for personal leasing. For all business types, VAT is not included for the contract hire prices advertised or quoted.

If you increase your initial rental, you’ll reduce the size of your monthly payments.
After you’ve picked your dream motor and completed the application, we’ll liaise with the finance company. We’ll use our Jedi mind tricks (not really) to get financial approval, which will take between a few minutes and up to 24 hours depending on your credit status.
We specialise in PCH, lease deals and offers usually spanning 2 - 3 years. Feel free to ask us about arranging a short term car hire while your vehicle is in production.
This will depend on your specific application. For car leasing, it’s likely to be the equivalent of 1 - 12 months of payments depending on what you want.

For car leasing, road tax (or the official sounding vehicle excise duty/VED) is normally included for the duration of the contract. Any exceptions will be clearly listed when we sort our quotation.
All depends on where you’re located.
UK mainland delivery is free, while Northern Ireland and the Isles of Scotland may come with a charge.
It sure is!
Vehicles include between 12 and 36 months of breakdown recovery at no extra cost, which is part of the manufacturer’s warranty. Different manufacturers allow for different periods of roadside assistance.
Thinking of choosing a full maintenance contract? Breakdown assistance is covered for the duration of the contract.
A maintenance package isn’t mandatory but you can add one if you want. This package will be paid each month and it covers vehicle repair and maintenance costs that aren’t covered by the manufacturer’s warranty. Keep in mind the maintenance package is an extra fixed monthly cost in addition to your lease.
If you don’t want the package, it’s down to you to maintain the vehicle unless it’s covered in the manufacturer’s warranty. When in doubt check the terms of the warranty.
The advertised rate is offered by a particular finance company, which will need a certain criteria to be met e.g. usage or credit status.
As much as we like to help people, we can’t always guarantee applicants will be accepted by our finance partners at the advertised price. But the advertised price will always be the price that the majority of successful applicants obtain.
You’ll hand the vehicle back to the leasing company. So long as the vehicle is in line with the agreed mileage and BVRLA fair wear and tear guidelines you won’t have to worry about any extra payment.
We wouldn’t recommend doing this. Why? It means you could have to pay extra because of the excess mileage.
For example, if the excess mileage is stated at 6 pence per mile and you go over the contract mileage by 1000 miles and the additional charge will be £60.00.
We love helping people with a great credit history and while the following information might not sound like the most exciting thing in the world, it’s valuable information that will make a difference to your application.
Before you’re approved to take finance from a lender for anything (whether that’s to get a credit card, buy a house or buy a car) the finance company will request that it can undertake a ‘credit check’ of your credit history to verify your identity and your ability to make repayments.
It’s important that you analyse your current finance situation and assess your ability to keep up the repayments for the duration of the agreement. Please consider your ability to keep up repayments if your circumstances were to change. It’s also worth checking the suitability of the vehicle you are looking to lease and assess its viability as your vehicle for the duration of the lease.
If you’re over 18 and have a history of taking credit, it’s likely that you have a credit report held by a credit reference agency. Your credit history specifies how you have managed your credit including bank overdrafts, mobile phone contracts, mortgages and credit cards. This report provides a summary of your credit accounts, repayment record and how well you are coping with your finances.
No one can access your report without your permission. If you’re applying for credit and have approved access to your report, it’ll be used alongside the information on your application in order to make a decision on whether or not to offer you credit (usually by calculating a credit score for your application).
When applying for credit, make sure to cover all material facts about your credit history so that it matches with a credit check we conduct at a later date.
If you’ve been rejected by a lender recently, it’s important to declare this so that steps can be taken to ensure that your application is put with a lender most likely to accept you. Trying to obtain finance with a lender that is likely to reject you because they only take people with a perfect record will only further damage your credit history.
No need to get confused about personal leasing and PCH. They’re the same.
